Back-to-school season is here, and we are thrilled to be welcoming a full roster of more than 75 new and returning students. We are looking forward to another busy school year, and we are so happy that you are a part of our students’ journey toward graduation. With your help, we graduated 21 students this past June, the largest Passages graduating class in our school’s history!

We also celebrated the return of longtime teacher Andrea Itkin, and welcomed three new board members, including longtime supporter Greg Marley, former Wayfinder teacher Julia Johnston, and 2015 Wayfinder graduate Rose Piscuskas.

Cathy started at the Camden campus of Wayfinder in 2000, when it was still known as The Community School. She began as a residential program tutor and over the years she has bonded with hundreds of students as their culinary instructor, English tutor, overnight counselor, and Passages teacher. Chef-poet-mom-artist-teacher extraordinaire, Cathy is a beloved member of the Wayfinder family. And did we mention she manages the Wayfinder food pantry as well? We simply can't imagine Wayfinder without her.
